 Tended began with a simple question: if something happened to me, would the people I love know where everything was — and what I would have wanted? When dementia in my family brought those questions closer to home, I saw first-hand how difficult it can be for families to find information, make decisions and navigate the practical things left behind, often at an incredibly difficult time. I looked for somewhere that could bring all of this together — securely, simply and without making planning feel frightening or morbid — but I couldn’t find what I wanted. So I decided to build it. Tended is ultimately about looking after the people we love: giving us a simple way to organise the things that matter, so that one day, if they’re ever needed, our families have a little less to worry about.
